In a remarkable display of quick thinking and humanitarian spirit, the driver and conductor of a private bus provided critical assistance to a female student who fell ill suddenly. The incident occurred on August 22, as the AKMS bus was traveling from Mangaluru to Manipal.
The student, who had boarded the bus at Mulki, experienced a sudden health crisis as the bus was approaching Udyavar, after crossing Katapady. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, driver Naseef and conductor Mohith promptly diverted the bus to TMA Pai Hospital in Udupi.
