The mission’s core objective is to spread the teachings of Vedanta and inspire individuals to lead meaningful lives through spiritual knowledge, disciplined practice and service to society.

Swami Chinmayananda is widely recognised for bringing the wisdom of ancient scriptures to the common public through lectures, books and study programmes.

Activities across age groups

The organisation conducts various programmes through its different wings catering to people of all age groups.

These include Bala Vihar for children, Chinmaya Yuva Kendra for youth, Devi groups for women and study groups for spiritual learning and discussion.

With the motto “To give maximum happiness to the maximum number for the maximum time,” Chinmaya Mission continues to promote spiritual awareness and community service.
