The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has launched a new initiative aimed at promoting passenger well-being during flights. Starting January 3, CISF personnel trained in yoga will lead simple exercises for passengers traveling on short and medium-haul flights, especially on international routes.
This initiative, the first of its kind in India, was outlined in a letter sent to all chief aerodrome security officers by the special director-general of CISF. The move is designed to enhance passenger comfort and health by offering yoga exercises during flights, providing a unique and beneficial experience for travelers.
Trained CISF personnel will serve as stand-in instructors, guiding passengers through easy-to-follow exercises that can help reduce the stress and discomfort often associated with flying.
