The Commerce Association organized an insightful session titled “Insights in Life Insurance” on May 12 for the I BCom (BFSI) AEDP batch. The event took place in Room N101 and aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the life insurance sector.
Manoj Louis, Convenor of the Commerce Association, welcomed and introduced the session’s resource person, Alban Mascarenhas, Higher Grade Assistant at the Carrier Agents Branch of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Mangaluru.
Mr. Mascarenhas provided valuable practical knowledge through real-life case studies, making the session both engaging and informative. His deep understanding of the insurance sector helped students grasp the nuances of life insurance, policy structures, and customer interaction in the industry.
The session was made more interactive through an active Q&A segment, where student participation brought energy and enthusiasm, making it a truly enriching learning experience.
Kavyashree, a student from the I BCom AEDP batch, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker and organizers.
A total of 28 students attended the session, marking it a successful academic initiative by the Commerce Association.
