Mangaluru: With just 12 days to go, excitement is building for the grand Pearl Jubilee celebration of the Konkani Cultural Organization Trust (Regd.), Mangalore, as preparations for “Dabazo” — the Nihal Tauro Live Show — gather momentum. The much-awaited musical extravaganza will be held on Sunday, 7 December 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kulashekar Church Grounds, organised in association with The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP), Mangalore.

Distinguished guests to attend the celebration
The event will be graced by
• Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese – Chief Guest
• Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop Emeritus, Mangalore Diocese – Guest of Honour
• Mr Ivan D’Souza, MLC, Government of Karnataka – Guest of Honour
• Mr J. R. Lobo, Former MLA, Mangalore South Constituency – Guest of Honour
Their presence adds significance to the Pearl Jubilee celebrations, marking 30 years of cultural and community service by KCO.
Star-studded musical evening planned
The highlight of the evening will be a power-packed live performance by Nihal Tauro, Sony TV Indian Idol 12 finalist, well-known singer, songwriter and composer, who will perform with his Mumbai-based troupe.
The show will also feature celebrated artists including:
• Lavita Lobo – Mangaluru-born, Chennai-based singer known for her vibrant stage presence and her Oscar-shortlisted track Have You Ever Wondered.
• Robin Sequeira – Award-winning Konkani singer, DJ and two-time Global Konkani Music Awards Best Singer (2015, 2016).
• Live Bands – Nihal Tauro Band and Sanjay Rodrigues Band.
• Master of Ceremony – The charismatic Leslie Rego, who will lead the evening with his signature charm and flair.
