In a transformative step towards reshaping the city’s real estate and urban development landscape, CREDAI Mangalore and Section Infin-8 Foundation (SI-8) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the IDFC First Bank Emerge-2025 event on Sunday. This collaboration, part of the Mangaluru Beach Festival organized by the Tapasya Foundation, aims to integrate innovation, sustainability, and future-oriented solutions into the real estate sector.

The MoU was signed by Vishwas US and Dr. Shivakiran Makam, directors of SI-8, and Vinod AR Pinto, president of CREDAI Mangalore. It lays the groundwork for an Innovation and Incubation Facility at CREDAI Mangalore. Arjun J Rao, CEO of CREDAI Mangalore, highlighted that the new facility will provide a platform for innovative ideas, groundbreaking solutions, and sustainable business models that will redefine the future of real estate. This initiative will also foster sustainable startups and the application of advanced technologies in the industry.

CREDAI Mangalore and SI-8 will focus on market research, trend analysis, and the development of emerging solutions, particularly in areas like green building, sustainable urban planning, ESG frameworks, and innovative construction techniques. The partnership will explore sustainable construction methods, environmental impact assessments, carbon credits, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Vinod AR Pinto emphasized that their mission is not only to stay ahead of industry trends but to set new standards for responsible development. Vishwas US echoed this sentiment, stating that their collaboration aims to inspire developers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to create a greener, more resilient future.
