Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district is experiencing continuous rainfall, with monsoon rains causing damage and loss of life in the area. In response, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has activated natural disaster control rooms.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal districts from June 28 to June 30. The district administration has announced a holiday for schools and PU colleges in the district on Friday.
