Elderly Man Goes Missing After Collecting Pension in Panemangaluru

An elderly man from Sajipamunnuru village, Uggappa (70), has gone missing under mysterious circumstances after visiting a bank to collect his old-age pension. A case has been registered at the Bantwal police station.

Uggappa had visited Union Bank in Panemangaluru to collect his pension. After returning home, he briefly spoke with his daughter-in-law on the phone and then ended the call. When she tried to contact him again, he did not answer.

It was later discovered that Uggappa had left his home, leaving his mobile phone behind. His son, Anil Kumar, conducted an extensive search but was unable to locate him. The Bantwal police are now investigating the case to determine his whereabouts.
