Free pediatric cardiology camp at AJ Hospital for children’s heart health

A day-long pediatric cardiology camp will be held on January 16 at AJ Hospital, Kuntikana, offering free consultations and tests for children with heart conditions, announced Dr. Prem Alva, a pediatric cardiologist.
Speaking to the media on January 13, Dr. Alva highlighted that one in 100 children faces heart problems, but many parents are unaware of treatment options, often due to financial constraints.
The camp, scheduled from 9 AM to 3 PM, will offer free consultations, heart scans, and echocardiograms. Children with BPL cards requiring surgery can avail treatment at no cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
