Sullia: A truck carrying gas cylinders overturned on the Mani-Mysuru highway near Sullia on Monday evening, causing a temporary disruption to traffic.

The accident occurred at a bend in Kodi village, Kanakamajalu, after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Thankfully, all but one of the cylinders were empty, preventing a major incident. However, a leak emerged from the single filled cylinder.

Firefighters were promptly dispatched to the scene. They safely emptied the leaking gas, eliminating the danger. The accident caused a brief halt in traffic, but the road was quickly cleared and movement resumed normally.
