Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management will host the IEEE Second International Conference on Computing, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems and Communications (COSMIC-2025) on 21–22 November 2025 on its campus, supported by the IEEE Bangalore Section.

Sahyadri’s continued focus on research and innovation

Sahyadri has consistently promoted research and innovation through initiatives such as Synergia, Social Innovation Projects, and the Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt. COSMIC-2025, one of the institution’s flagship academic events, further strengthens its role as a hub for high-end technological discourse.

The conference will convene experts, researchers, academicians, students and industry stakeholders from across India and abroad, covering areas including computing, semiconductors, mechatronics, intelligent systems and communications.

Technical sessions, keynote talks and publications

The event will feature keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, and poster sessions, creating a platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research.
All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library (Conference Record #67569) through the IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP).

Sahyadri’s third major IEEE international conference

This is the third IEEE international conference hosted by Sahyadri. The college successfully organised IEEE COSMIC-2024 last year and IEEE DISCOVER-2023 earlier, in collaboration with the IEEE Mangalore Subsection and IEEE Bangalore Section. These consistent efforts highlight the institution’s sustained commitment to advancing multidisciplinary research and technological growth.

Strong participation from across India and overseas

For COSMIC-2025, a total of 400 papers were submitted from various parts of India and abroad. After rigorous double-blind multi-level reviews, 20% of submissions were accepted for presentation. The conference is expected to host 200+ attendees, including delegates, researchers and industry professionals.
