Karkala Postal Officials Commended for Doorstep Aadhaar Update Service for Ailing Family
Postal officials from the Karkala and Puttur postal divisions have received widespread acclaim for their compassionate initiative to provide Aadhaar update services at the doorstep of a struggling family in Karkala. The family, facing severe health challenges, includes 10-year-old Trisha Dinesh Poojary, who is battling a brain tumor, and her mother, who is also critically ill. Due to their health conditions, they were unable to visit the post office to update their Aadhaar biometric details and correct their address.
Upon learning about the family’s predicament, they reached out to the Karkala head post office, requesting assistance for the Aadhaar update. In a commendable response, the marketing team from the Puttur postal division visited the family’s home and efficiently completed the necessary biometric updates and address corrections.
Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary shared a video of the event on social media, praising the postal officials for their selfless service. He remarked, “In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious postal schemes, postal officials are delivering exemplary services. By working in this manner, you not only earn divine grace but also the blessings of people in need. Congratulations to you all.”
The community has warmly welcomed this heartening gesture, highlighting the positive impact of public service on vulnerable families.
