Mangalore: KMC Hospital Mangalore has taken a significant step forward in emergency care with the inauguration of its renovated and advanced Emergency Department, officiated by Dr. H Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman of Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. The facility aims to set new standards in providing timely and high-quality emergency medical care.

State-of-the-art emergency care

The newly upgraded department features a 15-bedded emergency room, emergency paediatric care, and dedicated teams for stroke, cardiac, and trauma management. Equipped with advanced radiology services and a Stat Lab for point-of-care diagnosis, the department ensures swift and efficient patient care.

Additionally, the 24×7 Ambulance Service—Manipal Ambulance Response Services—boasts paramedics trained in handling critical emergencies during transit. Nurses are certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) to provide comprehensive emergency care.
