KSEAB Implements New Measures to Prevent SSLC Exam Paper Leaks
Following reports of malpractices and question paper leaks during the ongoing SSLC Summative Assessment-1 exams in Karnataka, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has introduced significant measures to tackle the issue. Allegations surfaced that exam papers were leaked via social media, particularly in the Davanagere district. However, preliminary investigations revealed that the leaked paper was an old one posted on a YouTube channel, not a current exam paper. These incidents, resembling issues with online materials like unauthorized Palo Alto PCNSA exam dumps, highlighted the need for stricter control over exam content.
KSEAB chairperson N Manjushree confirmed that the board has taken steps to prevent further incidents, including banning activities such as sharing exam papers on social media. To further secure the process, KSEAB now releases question papers through the school’s login portal only on the day of the exam, starting at 6 AM. Previously, the papers were made available a day in advance.
To ensure consistency, a uniform question paper is distributed for all SSLC exams across the state. With schools in rural areas facing challenges in downloading and printing question papers early in the morning, there have been suggestions to change the exam start time, which is currently 10 AM.
