KSRTC Bus Loses Control Near Arkula Valachil Due to Brake Failure

A KSRTC bus lost control this morning and mounted a road divider near Arkula Valachil on the outskirts of Mangaluru after its brake chamber broke. The incident occurred while the bus was en route from B.C. Road to Mangaluru.

Approximately 20 passengers were on board at the time of the mishap. Thankfully, due to the quick reaction of the bus driver, no one was injured, as confirmed by the bus conductor.

The brake failure was identified as the cause of the incident, but thanks to the driver’s prompt action, a potentially dangerous situation was avoided.
