Mangaluru: As part of the Amrita Varsha – 75 Years of Service to Humanity celebrations, the Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, hosted a soulful devotional musical evening titled “Amrita Bhakti Sudha” on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, Ramakrishna Math, Mangaluru.

Inauguration and Dignitaries

The programme was inaugurated by Sri Shailendra Nath Sheeth, Deputy General Manager, Canara Bank, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the beginning of the event. Swami Jitakamanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, presided over the occasion, extending warm greetings to the devotees and appreciating their continued participation in the Mission’s activities.

A Soulful Musical Offering

The highlight of the evening was a devotional music recital by Kumari Medha Vidyabhushan, whose mellifluous voice and deep sense of bhakti captivated the audience. She was accompanied by Pradesh Achar on the Violin, Phanindra Bhaskar on the Mridanga, and B.S. Raghunandan on the Ghatam, creating a divine symphony that resonated throughout the auditorium.

Each composition reflected devotion and purity, immersing the listeners in a serene spiritual experience. The harmonious blend of melody and rhythm uplifted the atmosphere, leaving devotees spellbound and emotionally moved.

A Gathering of Devotion and Harmony

The event witnessed the participation of around 550 devotees and delegates, who joined in the celebration of music, faith, and unity. The programme was not just a concert but a heartfelt offering, reaffirming the Mission’s commitment to promoting spiritual growth through art, service, and devotion.

The evening concluded with blessings from the presiding Swamiji, who emphasised that devotional music serves as a bridge between the human and the divine, fostering inner peace and spiritual upliftment.
