Sullia: A gold chain lost at the Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple was successfully returned to its owner, Sachin from Ujire, thanks to the honesty and swift action of temple authorities and police.
The chain was initially discovered by Srinivasappa, a devotee from Bengaluru, while standing in the darshan queue on Sunday. He immediately handed it over to Damodar Nair, chief of the temple’s security team.
Temple staff made multiple announcements through the public address system, and security personnel alerted devotees about the found item.
Shortly after, Sachin, who was also in the queue, realized his daughter’s gold chain was missing. Upon hearing the announcement, he approached the temple staff, identified the chain, and it was returned to him in the presence of Subrahmanya Station House Officer (SHO) Karthik.
The incident drew appreciation from devotees, highlighting the integrity and prompt response of the temple security team.
