Puttur, May 23, 2024: A case has been registered at the Puttur Town Police Station against a man accused of sharing a derogatory post on former legislator Sanjeeva Matandoor and issuing a death threat to the senior political leader.

The accused, Prajwal Rai, allegedly posted a demeaning message about Matandoor on WhatsApp on May 17. Additionally, complainants reported to the Puttur Town Police that Rai had issued a warning on social media, threatening to stone the former MLA on the streets. They urged the police to take suitable legal action against Rai.
