Mandekolu, May 23, 2024: In a heartening resolution, an elderly woman’s plea to return home was addressed through the intervention of Tahsildar G Manjunath and a team of officials in Mandekolu village.
Sheshamma, residing in Kalladka Peraaje, had lodged a complaint with the tahsildar, expressing her desire to return home despite being unwell and staying with her daughter. Upon receiving the complaint, Tahsildar Manjunath, along with other officials and Sheshamma’s daughters, convened a discussion to address the issue.
The team, including taluk panchayat EO Paramesh, CDPO Shailaja, Mandekolu PDO Ramesh, and village administrator Ajay, accompanied Sheshamma to her residence. A discussion with her son and daughter-in-law ensued, emphasizing the importance of caring for the elderly.
