Mangaluru: A man was injured in an accidental shooting at a second-hand bazaar in Vamanjoor, on the outskirts of the city. The incident occurred when the victim, Safwan, mistook a revolver placed on a table for a toy and accidentally shot himself.

Safwan, who had come to the bazaar to make a purchase, reportedly picked up a revolver left unattended on a table by Bhaskar. Believing it to be a toy, he placed it against his stomach and pulled the trigger.

The accidental firing resulted in injuries to Safwan, who is now receiving treatment at a private hospital in Padil.
