Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport has strengthened its security measures by setting up a new police check post at the airport entrance. The initiative, undertaken in collaboration with the Mangaluru City Police, aims to enhance the safety of passengers and airport staff.
Mangaluru City Police Commissioner, Mr. Anupam Agrawal, officially inaugurated the check post in the presence of senior airport officials and the Airport Security Group of CISF. The facility is equipped with ergonomic chairs and air conditioning to support police personnel in effectively carrying out their duties.
With increasing security concerns, the check post will provide a stronger security presence at the airport. Trained officers from Mangaluru City Police will be stationed at the post, ensuring 24/7 vigilance and a swift response to any threats.
