Mangaluru: Due to ongoing works in the Nagercoil area, train No. 16649/16650, the Mangaluru Central-Nagercoil Junction-Mangaluru Central Parasuram Express, will be temporarily extended to Kanyakumari. This extension will begin with the train departing from Mangaluru Central starting Wednesday and from Kanyakumari starting Thursday. To accommodate the increased passenger demand, two additional general class coaches will be added to the train service on a temporary basis.
This measure aims to ensure that passengers can travel without disruptions and with adequate seating options during the period of ongoing works. The addition of extra coaches is expected to help clear the rush of passengers and provide more comfort and convenience for travelers.
