A puppy that had fallen into a 25-foot-deep borewell was successfully rescued by the Pandeshwar fire station team on Monday evening. C.R. Ranganath, Regional Fire Officer for Mangaluru, shared that the department received a distress call from Kotekar around 7:10 pm. The Pandeshwar fire station team quickly responded and arrived at the scene to find the puppy trapped in a narrow borewell with a diameter of only half a foot.
Upon further inspection, the team noticed a small piece of wood precariously positioned above the puppy. Using a fishing hook, the fire team carefully removed the obstruction and then delicately lifted the puppy to safety. Thanks to the quick and precise efforts of the fire department, the puppy was rescued unharmed. Ranganath praised the team’s skillful actions in ensuring the safe rescue of the animal.
