Mangaluru: A human chain was formed in front of Mini Vidhana Soudha, Mangalore, led by the Hindu Welfare Committee, to protest the recent violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. The event aimed to spotlight the severe injustices faced by the Hindu community and demand international action for their safety.

BJP Dakshina Kannada District Spokesperson Satish Prabhu condemned the violence, highlighting attacks on homes, temples, and businesses, as well as instances of sexual violence. He criticized the lack of international response, questioning why bodies like the World Human Rights Commission have not acted.

The demonstration saw participation from local leaders, including MP Brijesh Chowta, MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, and Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur, along with BJP District President Satish Kumpala and other officials. The collective presence underscored a united demand for action and solidarity with Bangladeshi Hindus facing persecution.
