Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a man named Karthik Bhat took his own life after allegedly killing his wife and child, following a family dispute. Before his death, Karthik left a suicide note accusing his mother, Shyamala Bhat, and sister, Kanmani, of contributing to his distress.

The Mulki police promptly arrested Shyamala Bhat and Kanmani on charges of abetment to suicide and murder. However, before they could be produced in court, the two accused reported feeling unwell and were admitted to a private hospital in Moodabidri. Currently, both remain under medical care, while police continue their investigation into the case.
