Several Mangaluru police officers have been awarded the 2024 Chief Minister’s Medal for their outstanding contributions in solving major crimes. Their achievements include cracking the Kotekar bank robbery case and executing one of Karnataka’s biggest MDMA drug busts.
Among the notable awardees are Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal, ACP Dhanya N. Nayak, and Western Range DIG Amit Singh, recognized for their efforts in facilitating Naxalite surrenders and reintegration.
