In a major drug bust, the Mulki police arrested two college students at Koppala bridge in Haleyangadi on Saturday for possessing 26 LSD star strips. The arrested individuals, identified as Adil and Mohammed Nihal M.P., both from Kerala, were studying at a college on the outskirts of Mangaluru. Commissioner of Police Anupam Agrawal revealed that the duo had been engaged in selling LSD strips to the public and fellow students in the area.

Following a tip-off, PSI Anitha H.B., under the direction of Mangaluru North Sub-Division ACP Srikanth, led the operation that resulted in the arrest. The police seized 26 LSD strips, valued at Rs 78,000, along with a car and two mobile phones.

The students were presented in court and have been remanded to judicial custody. The incident highlights ongoing efforts by the police to curb drug-related activities in the region.
