For the past four to five months, the roads at Bejai New Road have been left in a state of disrepair. Potholes have accumulated water over time, making it difficult for pedestrians to navigate this area. The risk of skidding is high, turning it into an accident-prone zone.

A local auto driver, noting the pathetic condition of the road, put up a sarcastic poster titled ‘Kesardonji Dina’ to highlight the worsening situation.

The lack of action by the concerned authorities to resolve the issue has led to a further decline in the already deteriorating road conditions. Urgent repairs are crucial to prevent potential future accidents.

Apart from Bejai New Road, there are many other areas like Nagori and Kodialbail where incomplete works have caused inconvenience to pedestrians and tested the patience of locals.
