Mangalore: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) organised an artificial limb camp for endosulfan-affected individuals in Puttur and Belthangady. This compassionate initiative, in collaboration with Jaipur Foot and supported by the Dakshina Kannada District Health Department, underscores MRPL’s commitment to community welfare under its Arogya Samrakshan Scheme.
The camps were held on December 18 and 19 in Puttur and December 20 in Belthangady, with a project outlay of ₹12 lakh. A total of 72 beneficiaries received artificial limbs, bringing renewed mobility and independence to those affected by the harmful consequences of endosulfan exposure.
