Passenger Found Dead on KSRTC Bus: Mystery Surrounds Sudden Demise

Mangaluru: A 53-year-old man was discovered dead aboard a KSRTC Airavat bus travelling from Mumbai to Mangaluru early Sunday morning. The deceased, identified as Sathyan, was reportedly in the medical equipment trade and hailed from Sirsi Taluk, Uttara Kannada.
His brother, Ramesh Nagappa, filed a complaint stating that Sathyan had boarded the bus on April 20. Around 7 a.m., fellow passengers noticed he was unresponsive. The bus was halted near the Shirva Community Health Centre in Udupi, where a medical officer examined him and pronounced him dead.
The exact cause of Sathyan’s death remains unknown at this stage. Police from Shirva station have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
