Mangaluru: RACHANA – Catholic Chamber of Commerce & Industry, established in 1998, has invited nominations for the prestigious Rachana Awards 2023-25, which honor outstanding Catholic individuals from the Mangalore Diocese who have excelled in their respective fields.
Categories of Awards
The awards will be conferred in the following five categories:
- Rachana Agriculturist
- Rachana Entrepreneur
- Rachana Professional (Doctor, Advocate, Engineer, Chartered Accountant)
- Rachana NRI Entrepreneur/Professional
- Rachana Outstanding Woman (Entrepreneur, Professional, or Agriculturist)
Each recipient will receive a Title, Citation, Memento, and Public Honour during the award ceremony.
Nomination Process & Selection
Interested candidates or nominators must submit their applications, along with a photograph, to The President, RACHANA, at First Floor, Pio Mall, Jail Road, Mangalore – 575 004, or via email at rachanamangalore@gmail.com, on or before May 31, 2025.
A panel of 25 jury members will scrutinize the nominations and select the most deserving candidates.
Award Ceremony Details
The Rachana Awards 2023-25 ceremony will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at Milagres Jubilee Hall, Mangalore. The event will be presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, and will feature the presence of dignitaries and eminent personalities.
