FY 2025‑26 kick‑off
April 2025 saw 217,893 passengers—the busiest month since October 2020—with a single‑day peak of 8,103 travellers on 12 April, topping the previous record set 22 February.
Airport officials credit the surge to expanded domestic networks, resurgent Gulf demand, DigiYatra’s seamless‑travel rollout, and new cargo capacity. The momentum positions IXE as a rising secondary hub on India’s western seaboard, boosting regional tourism and trade as the facility eyes further route additions in FY 2025‑26.
