Scooter carrying 200 kg illegal beef seized in Kulshekar; rider flees scene

MANGALURU: Tension flared near Kaikamba in Kulshekar when right-wing activists intercepted a scooter suspected of transporting illegal beef. On being confronted, the rider abandoned both the scooter and the cargo, fleeing the spot.
Authorities later confirmed that approximately 200 kilograms of beef was being illegally transported. The activists promptly informed local police, who arrived at the location and confiscated the vehicle along with the consignment.
Law enforcement officials have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify the absconding rider and trace the origins of the seized beef.
