Sampaje, December 29, 2024: A car accident in Gadikallu, Sampaje village, on Sunday resulted in the driver of one vehicle sustaining serious injuries. The collision occurred when two cars, one heading towards Mangaluru from Madikeri and the other towards Kallugundi, collided while negotiating a curve.

The injured driver was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation.
