Actress Shilpa Shetty, known for her dedication to fitness, is now winning hearts for a different reason—her deep-rooted connection to her hometown, Mangaluru. The Bollywood star recently shared glimpses of her visit, celebrating tradition, faith, and family bonding.

Taking to Instagram, Shilpa posted a heartwarming video montage featuring moments from her trip. She was accompanied by her husband, Raj Kundra, children Viaan and Samiksha, sister Shamita, and mother Sunanda Shetty. Expressing her emotions, she wrote, “There’s a sense of peace in going back to where you come from. Traditions that transcend time, faith that strengthens the soul—Watching my kids and husband embrace this legacy is a blessing.” She also thanked Raj for his unwavering support, adding, “Surrender to faith and see miracles happen.”

Shilpa looked radiant in a vibrant yellow and pink saree, while Raj complemented her in a classic kurta and dhoti. Their children also donned traditional attire, embracing their cultural heritage.

During her visit, Shilpa offered prayers at Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple in Kateel, a revered site near Mangaluru. Born into a Tulu-speaking family, she has always taken pride in her South Indian heritage.

On the professional front, Shilpa was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force on Prime Video, portraying IPS officer Tara Shetty. Up next, she will be seen in Lahore 1947 and KD – The Devil.
