SJEC women’s athletics team shines at VTU State Level Meet

Mangaluru, March 18: The St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) women’s athletics team achieved remarkable success at the 26th VTU State Level Athletic Meet 2024-25, held at JNNCE, Shivamogga, from March 15 to 18, 2025. Under the guidance of Physical Education Director (PED) Ms. Vaneesha V Rodrigues and Assistant PED Mr. Sudheer M, the athletes secured multiple podium finishes.

🏆 Individual Achievements:
✔ Ms. Pranamya Shetty (I Year, MCA) – 1st Place in Javelin Throw
✔ Ms. Anagha KA (I Year, CSE) – 1st Place in 400m Hurdles
✔ Ms. Thanvi S (I Year, ECE) – 3rd Place in 800m
✔ Ms. Kushi Saliyan (II Year, ECE) – 1st Place in Hammer Throw 🥇 New Meet Record – 36.71m
✔ Ms. Sushritha (III Year, ECE) – 3rd Place in 200m
