Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, secured the overall championship at a national-level fest for pre-university students, hosted by St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) on Tuesday.
Over 2,200 students compete
The event drew participation from over 2,200 students representing 64 colleges from Karnataka and neighbouring states. A total of 36 academic and cultural competitions tested participants’ talent, creativity, and teamwork.
Amid stiff competition, the Gonzagaites stood out with exceptional performances across multiple categories, ultimately lifting the coveted title.

Principal Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ lauded the students and faculty for their remarkable achievement. “This victory reflects not only the talent of our students but also their dedication, discipline, and determination to excel at the national level,” he said.
