Mangaluru: In a swift breakthrough, city police have apprehended eight individuals linked to the brutal killing of Hindu activist and rowdy-sheeter Suhas Shetty, who was murdered near Bajpe on Thursday night. Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara, at a press conference on Friday, confirmed the arrests and reassured strict action.
“The investigation is progressing rapidly. We will not tolerate lawlessness from any section of society,” he said, following a high-level review with senior police officials amid rising tension in Dakshina Kannada.
