Mangaluru: The final journey of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty, who was killed in a brutal attack in Bajpe on April 30, is set to take place today, May 2. His mortal remains will be taken from A.J. Hospital at 9:30 AM, following which a public procession will be held en route to his native village.

According to organisers, the funeral procession will:

Reach B.C. Road at 10:00 AM

Arrive at Karinja, his hometown, by 10:30 AM
A large number of Hindu activists and supporters are expected to take part in this final tribute.
Call for mass participation
Organisers have appealed to Hindu activists from Mangaluru and surrounding areas to participate in the procession in large numbers as a show of respect and solidarity. Local groups have also been mobilised to maintain order during the event.
The procession is expected to draw a significant crowd, with heightened security arrangements in place by the police to ensure peace throughout the route.
