
National Kabaddi Player Preetham Shetty Dies of Cardiac Arrest During Match

KARKALA: In a heart-wrenching incident, 26-year-old Preetham Shetty, a national-level Kabaddi player from Mutlupady Nadumane near Ajekaru, passed away on December 13 due to cardiac arrest while playing in a tournament at Mandya.
Preetham experienced chest pain mid-game and was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A promising athlete, Preetham showcased his talent in numerous competitions, starting from his school days at Muniyalu Government High School and PU College. During his college years, he played a pivotal role in the Kabaddi team at SDM College, Ujire.
His untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the sports community. Preetham is survived by his mother and brother.
