In a heartbreaking incident, an assistant fire station officer in Mangaluru, Rajeeva, aged 58, succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident. The accident occurred at Kallapu while Rajeeva was returning home after completing his duties at the Kadri fire service station on May 19. Despite immediate medical attention, his injuries were severe, and he passed away at a private hospital in Deralakatte on Tuesday.
