A tragic accident at Nitte Bhramari Cross in Karkala Taluk has resulted in the deaths of two laborers. The incident occurred when a lorry loaded with stones, bound for Mangaluru, overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The deceased have been identified as Kariappa (26) and Nariappa (27), both hailing from Yalaburgi Devalapura in Koppal district. Following the accident, Karkala Deputy Superintendent of Police, Aravinda Kalagujji, visited the scene to assess the situation. A case has been filed at the Karkala police station to initiate further investigation into the incident.
