Tragic end for mother injured in gas cylinder blast
Khubra, a mother of three, tragically lost her life late Thursday following critical injuries sustained in a gas cylinder leak explosion at her residence in Kalkatta Kandika, Manjanady village.
The incident occurred last Saturday when Khubra and her children—Maziya, Meyadiya, and Mayida—were asleep in the same room. A sudden blast, caused by a gas leak, left the family with severe burns and injuries. All four were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Deralakatte for treatment.
Despite efforts to save her, Khubra succumbed to her injuries after battling for nearly a week. Her three children are still receiving medical care and are under observation at the hospital.
Khubra was the wife of Muttalib, and her passing has left the family and community in deep sorrow. The final rites will be conducted at their home in Kalkatta Kandika, where loved ones will gather to pay their respects.
This tragic accident highlights the importance of safety measures to prevent such devastating incidents.
