In a heartbreaking incident, 27-year-old Dr Keerthana Joshi, a veterinary doctor and resident of Mangaluru, was found dead at her residence on Monday night. The cause of her alleged suicide remains unclear.

Dr Joshi was the daughter of renowned chartered accountant Ganesh Joshi and hailed from Bappalagudde, Puttur. A dedicated professional, she had completed her MD in Veterinary Science and was practising privately across Puttur, Kollur, and Mangaluru.

According to initial reports, she took the extreme step by hanging herself late Monday night. Her mortal remains were shifted to her native residence in Puttur, where the final rites were performed.

She is survived by her father Ganesh Joshi, mother Veena Joshi, and sister Dr Meghana Joshi.

The incident has deeply shocked the local community, especially those familiar with her work and commitment to animal welfare. Friends and well-wishers remember her as a quiet, hardworking individual.

While the precise reasons behind her decision remain unknown, authorities may investigate further to understand the circumstances.
