Three separate two-wheeler accidents in Mangaluru and Bantwal have resulted in fatalities, highlighting the increasing danger faced by two-wheeler riders.

In Mangaluru, a 20-year-old rider, Sachin, was killed after a speeding car from the opposite direction collided with his scooter near Marnamikatte. The incident occurred on Friday evening while Sachin and a 14-year-old relative were traveling from Shaktinagar to Mangaladevi. The car reportedly crossed to the wrong side of the road and fled the scene. Sachin died en route to the hospital, while the teenager survived. A case has been filed at Mangaluru East police station.

In Bantwal, a man named Silvester D’Souza collapsed and later died after feeling dizzy while riding his scooter to a local hospital. Despite treatment, he passed away at a private hospital. Bantwal Traffic Police are investigating.

A third fatal accident occurred in Padil, where Joseph KK, 52, was run over by a truck after falling from his scooter. The accident happened when another scooter hit his pillion rider, causing Joseph to lose control. He was declared dead at Wenlock Hospital.
