In the early hours of December 10, a truck transporting polypropylene raw materials overturned near Shana Convention Centre in Mangaluru on NH 66. The driver reportedly lost control after feeling drowsy, causing the vehicle to hit a road divider.
Fortunately, no injuries or additional damage occurred, as no other vehicles were on the road during the incident. The truck, carrying raw materials from Mangaluru’s Katipalla area to Maharashtra, sustained significant damage.
Local residents and police quickly responded, helping to lift the overturned truck and restoring traffic flow. A case has been registered at the Kundapur police station for further investigation.
