Mangaluru, October 20, 2025: A unique confluence of art, spirituality, and science will take centre stage as ‘Vedic Inspirations’, an art exhibition by Prof. Dr Akhter Husain, opens at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru, on October 25 and 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Shri Veda Vyas, Hon’ble MLA, in the presence of Mr Ivan D’Souza, Hon’ble MLC; Mr Mithun Rai, Hon’ble KPCC General Secretary; Dr Mohan Alva, Dr Habib Rehman, and Dr U.T. Ifthikhar, along with other distinguished guests and art enthusiasts from across the region.
A Contemporary Reflection on Vedic Heritage
The two-day exhibition will showcase twenty original artworks that reinterpret India’s ancient Vedic wisdom through a contemporary artistic lens. Each piece explores the timeless spiritual and philosophical ideas of the Vedas — harmony, order, and interconnectedness — rendered through modern forms, textures, and media.
Through ‘Vedic Inspirations’, Prof. Dr Akhter Husain seeks to celebrate the shared spirit that unites humanity beyond boundaries of faith and form, using art as a language of reflection and transcendence.

About the Artist
Prof. Dr Akhter Husain is a distinguished orthodontist, academic, and artist whose multidisciplinary journey bridges science, aesthetics, and spirituality. He currently serves as the Administrative Director for the Centre for Craniofacial Anomalies and is the former Dean of Yenepoya Dental College.
An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (U.K.), Dr Husain is the recipient of numerous national and international recognitions for his contributions to photography and visual art. His artistic practice spans photography, digital design, and painting, each informed by his deep understanding of proportion, symmetry, and visual balance.
The Trinergic Style: A Fusion of Art and Philosophy
Dr Husain’s signature ‘Trinergic’ art style unites pixels, pigments, and 3D elements — creating a dialogue between form, feeling, and meaning. This fusion transforms metaphysical concepts into visual meditations, bridging the analytical with the spiritual, the material with the transcendental.
His works invite viewers to engage not just with what they see, but with what they feel — exploring the inner harmony between thought, emotion, and existence.

A Celebration of Beauty and Universal Harmony
Speaking about the exhibition, Dr Husain expressed that ‘Vedic Inspirations’ is not merely an artistic display but a journey through India’s timeless philosophical traditions, reinterpreted for the modern world.
“Art is a form of prayer — a means of seeking balance and understanding within and beyond ourselves,” he said.
Open to the public for two days, the exhibition promises to be a visual and spiritual experience, celebrating creativity, culture, and the enduring resonance of India’s Vedic legacy.
