In a disturbing incident in Kukundoor, Ayyappa Nagar, a young woman was allegedly abducted, drugged, and sexually assaulted by a group of four men. The woman, found unconscious near her house, was admitted to the Taluk Government Hospital for treatment.
The police have identified Altaf and three other accomplices as the main suspects. After the assault, the perpetrators abandoned the woman near her home and fled.
The incident has sparked strong reactions from leaders and activists of Hindu organizations, who gathered at the Karkala police station to voice their outrage. Altaf has been arrested, and the search for the other suspects continues.
