New Delhi: Reshel Fernandes, a young author and orator from Mangaluru, recently presented her book “Bharat @ 2047: Role of Youth” to Sri Anil K Antony, National Secretary and Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and in-charge of the North Eastern States.

The meeting took place in New Delhi, where Reshel shared her vision of India’s future and the transformative role the nation’s youth can play in shaping it by 2047 — the year marking the centenary of Indian independence.

Sri Anil K Antony, who is also the son of former Defence Minister Sri A. K. Antony, appreciated Reshel’s efforts and her commitment to civic awareness and youth empowerment through literature. The book delves into ideas of national development, innovation, sustainability, and leadership—anchored on the belief that India’s youth will be the architects of its future.

The interaction between the two was marked by thoughtful exchange on leadership, technology, education, and policy participation by young citizens. Anil Antony encouraged Reshel to continue engaging with national thought leaders and contribute to platforms that foster meaningful change.

Reshel’s book has already begun drawing attention for its articulate framing of the aspirations and responsibilities of India’s Gen Z. As a young orator and changemaker, her engagement with political leadership adds to her growing reputation as a public intellectual in the making.
