Mangaluru: In yet another shocking incident, a 21-year-old medical student accidentally fell from the fifth floor of an apartment balcony and died here in at Kadri Shivbagh on Sunday.
The deceased is identified as Samay Shetty, a native of Adyar, who is studying in A J Institute of Medical Sciences. As per the sources, Samay was talking to his mother leaning over the balcony rail, and he accidentally slipped and fell to the ground floor.
Samay was reportedly rushed to the hospital, however, the doctors pronounced the 21-year-old dead upon his arrival.
Kadri East Police filed a case and further investigation is going on.
